GIS Day Savannah 2011
Registration forms are due October 14, 2011. Booth space is limited so register soon!
The goal of GIS Day Savannah 2011 is to educate our local 8th grade students about how GIS is used every day in our community. Thanks to in-kind donations and support, the majority of your sponsorship will go towards establishing GIS programs in area schools.
At the same time, GIS Day provides the perfect opportunity for you to showcase your work, and a forum for teaching students about the significant contribution this exciting technology is making in their lives and communities.
Levels of Sponsorship include:
- Platinum Sponsorship for $2500
- Scholarship Sponsor for $1050**
- Gold Sponsorship for $1000
- Silver Sponsorship for $500
- Friends of GIS Day for $150
- Government and non-profit organizations that participate in the event are asked to submit a $50 donation to cover the cost of booth supplies and setup.
**We are looking for one sponsor who is interested in covering the entire cost of the Student Poster Contest prize scholarships. This year we are expanding the contest to High School, Undergraduate, and Graduate Students. Each level has First ($200), Second ($100), and Third ($50) place prizes. Awards will be presented from Sponsor Company and the GIS Day Savannah Committee. Please contact Noel Perkins (912-651-1477) if you are interested in this sponsorship.
